then I would recommend you to see Live Free or Die Hard. I am a Die Hard fan and this movie is yet one of the best I have seen. I also found out there is a new Rush Hour 3 coming Aug. 10th. I am in heaven and knew with faith and belief, things will go in my favor. I am so excited.

Nothing much here. Enjoying my summer and working 2 jobs. I am loving it. Pete is out of town on a Big Foot exhibition. There have been sitings north of us. Logan is at his grandmother's and I have enjoyed my 4 days of quiet. Just me, Gimp and Karma hanging out. Nice vacation.
The temps have been in the 90's and alcohol sales are big. I am catering a business party tonight. They are on the search for a new CEO for the hospital. Lots of cash for a few hours.
I hit my 2 month mark of not smoking and I have to tell you, it is getting harder for me not to start again. But, I am strong and will beat the want.

I do have to tell you, if you can get out to the theater, get there fast to see Live Free.... Have a great Sunday.

Hello. I  woke with a stomach ache this morning. Too much sun. Yesterday, Eulynda and I had a yard sale. It was hot and we got sun-burned. Made some good extra money. Pete and Eulynda's hubby were a great help. Not a bad sale considering we did not get an ad in the paper. There were a lot of sales in our subdivision and we had signs posted. Today...tired.

I have been working at the Cafe for the past few weeks. I did get a second job. It pays very well...and it will be a lot of fun. I guess Eulynda and I are starting our lab time tomorrow morning. Gag...so much for just forgetting about nursing and stuff.

I updated my private area a few weeks back...if you have not been by. Nothing much there or anything new for me to post over there. I also added about 16 new pictures to myFamily group Special Fun album and one new picture of Pete and Logan to the Nana album. Go by if you have not already. Enjoy!

OK, gang. This is it for me. It is sunny, warm and beautiful again today. However, as I said, I am tired and my tummy aches. So, I have checked the TV listings and none of my weekend re-run movies are on. Pete and I watched Ghost Rider and Breaking and Entering. Ghost Rider is cute, but not a re-run, watch over and over kind of movie. As for Breaking and Entering...WEIRD! Should have never watched it. 
Last night, Pete went out with a long time friend. I soaked in the tub and stayed in.

Hello! Today is such a beautiful day. It is 70* with not winds. Just wonderful. I layed on the deck all afternoon. This past week has been cool and rainy. I am sick of hearing that we need it...I will be the first to tell you...I need nothing.

I have not found a job yet, however, I did fill in at the Cafe for two days. Her waitress is in jail and I helped out. It was great seeing my old customers. I really had a great time. Everyone wanted to know if I was back, but with disappointment, I had to say no. I made good tips and hope to fill in next week, as well. I did forget how my feet and legs hurt after a shift.

I had lunch with my friend Tracie on Wednesday. She missed our cook-out. She is looking good and I do miss seeing her. Eulynda is out of town this weekend and starts her new job on Monday. Kendalyn has been stalked by an online nut - case... out of Colorado. Everyone else seems to be ok. I grin Trina is wanting to hit the bars tonight, but none of us are ready for that kind of excitement.

Pete and I stayed in and watched movies last night. Oh my. If you want to watch a feel good, cry baby, save the world kinda film, watch  Freedom Writers. We then watched Rocky...another cry, smile with inspirational movie. Let me see, last week we watched Stick It, and it was good as well. Tonight, we are setting in to 2 more movies. Invincible and Flags of our Fathers.

Our Memorial Day cook-out was a hit. We had a great time and I hope to get pictures up soon. It was great seeing everyone and even some that are not in the nursing program. The rain held off until everyone left, oh around 8pm. I had too much Jack, but I enjoyed myself. Pete was a great host and kept the party together. Thank goodness, he is my cook, my friend and my soul. 

It is a bit chilly this morning. I have my socks and slippers on. Pete and Karma are still sleeping and Gimp is laying here at my feet. Nothing much planned for the day. I may go tan and tomorrow, I have a hair appointment for a trim. Life is good.

We are sitting on 84 degrees...this is what I am talking about. I have been cleaning and  doing odd jobs the past few days. We have so much clutter junk and I have been getting rid of it. The house looks nice for our cookout.
I layed in the sun this afternoon.  I dusted and mopped but, I am holding off on vaccuming until tomorrow. Seems that Gimp will not shed as bad...LOL ... whatever. Pete did yard work yesterday and he is now cleaning out the swamp cooler. Heat seems to motivate him.

Let's see...nothing more going on. Our pontoon day has been set for a Tues. in Aug. I cannnot wait for that. Seems our first date for July had to be cancelled.
I have appys out every where. My friend, Eulynda found a job at Target. I like Target...I guess I should shop there.

Brrrr!! The last 3 days have been cold here. Last week, we scampered around to get the swamp cooler working to be comfortable in the heat...now, I am in sweats again and under my blankie.

Yesterday, I vegged in sweats, my hooded nursing sweat shirt and slippers. I watched my soaps while cuddled under my blankie. Gimp did not want to be out for long and Karma only stayed out for a second. I laugh.
Days of Our Lives is trying to keep me on the edge. I have enjoyed getting back into General Hospital as well. I need a job.

Monday night, we watched the finale of 24. Not quite the ending I thought but, I am happy to report... there will be a day 7. I just have to wait until January, 2008. I have caught up on movies. DejaVu, Because I Said So, Code name: The Cleaner, Grid Iron Gang, Blood Diamond and Catch and Release are all good movies to sit in for. Tonight, we are watching Stick It and Pan's Laybrinth. I would post all the links, but I just deleted my blog posting and do not wish to go thru that again.

Yesterday, I received my summer packet of nursing labs I have to do. I am now so stressed! I am not happy with all the work and no break. I knew we had some things to do before the semester started, but I did not know this. When I graduate...look out beaches, oceans and anywhere but here!

Well, I have taken my bath, doing laundry and finishing up my daily thing. I hope you have a great hump day. I hope this is warm for you...as I am still cold. Toodles and Huggles!
